Food Lab Cooking Class
Food Lab vegetable garden is an ideal classroom for a cook. There’s no better way to learn about, and connect with, the meal being prepared than to see how your food is grown and then harvest it for use in a dish that you prepare. It’s why a cooking class at Food Lab Farm is an opportunity to enjoy the fullest, one-of-a-kind culinary experience.
Preparations vary, but all of our classes focus on vegetables in the peak of their season. Once the menu is set, you will tour to our garden and harvest your own fresh produce with Farmers Chris and Mus and Dewi to assist before heading inside our Cookhouse to create an elegant yet casual, seasonal lunch. The table is always set with freshly harvested flowers and vintage dishes, cutlery and linens, and the meal is always paired with a complimentary beer
Each class is a blend of demonstration and hands-on participation. The classes are limited to ten adults, unless otherwise noted, and are suitable for all experience levels. Some are taught by our chef.
Our classes are the perfect way to learn new skills, socialize with friends, or share a team building exercise. And you can feel even better about your experience because all proceeds directly support Food Lab Cooking Class Garden and other community outreach.
We look forward to having you in our kitchen!
Each class presents an exciting opportunity to learn and cook a diverse selection of dishes.
